My Choice Pic of the Week

No Matter What.

A friendship can weather most things and thrive in thin soil; but it needs a little mulch of letters and phone calls and small, silly presents every so often - just to save it from drying out completely. - Pam Brown

Tomorrow is just another Today

Today... yes today. A new day... I like this day. It's not a complicated day.
I have many ways to make it through this day... Should I stay, or should I simply make my way out of this room into that cruel cruel world? Yet everyday, I am faced with new challenges... I surely hope you will make my day worth while.

It's a summers day, a cloudy day, no sun, yet the birds sing bright and the air is fresh... I like today, cause it's my very own day. My day that will in no way inflict upon my mood, despite my anguish I am always drawn to the light that shines brighter than the sun.

You will always be the one that makes my day worthwhile, whether with or without you, I always know you are near.

I can not wait for another day, knowing I may see or speak to you again. the agony of the wait does not go in vain... I feel the pain, but my love is strong, and even if I can not go on. Today is worth living on.

Tomorrow is another day,. tomorrow will be another day, tomorrow will be another today.

Ashamed of the Human Race

It has been one hell of a month... I am now officially a vegetarian... I have not had meat in my diet for over a month and it has been some time since I have had any real company. Today I will most likely take up some visiting plans... I must say, once you go vegetarian, you do become very sensitive with animal issues...
I have battled to be vegetarian for the last two years... but this time I have made a conscious choice and I am staying strong... I hope to make the next jump to vegan soon.

I myself have become completely disgusted at how our human race treat animal life... I can not understand how anyone can call themselves human after inflicting injury and even killing another creature...

Then you have those that kill humans, or for pleasure... serial killers... Rapists, etc... I do not understand their minds. Quite frankly, they deserve what's coming to them... Karma catches up quickly...

From Dolphin Killing, Rhino Poaching, Seal slaughter and Elephant poaching, and even eating your best friend, a dog and killing pigeons and cats for pleasure... seriously. I have one good mind and waling over to each and everyone of those people and treating them the same way...

Dolphins in the Cove
Seals Slaughtered

But instead, I will just expose you and your dirty horrid way of life... let strength in numbers deal with you.

I have learned to me compassionate, patient and loving and respectful toward nature, now that I have seen other people's ignorance and low self esteem towards God's creatures...

Now, I don't care much about religion, I have a good sense of respect for it, (not contradicting myself her) but, I don't care what religion you are or what culture you practice...

One thing is common here. We all believe in a higher power that created life. and if we continue to practice our cultures and religions in barbaric ways... we will never have a heritage to come back to.

So let's get this straight... Leave the animals alone... Mother earth has enough vegetables and fruit for all of us... Let's learn to manage her well... and Mother Earth will provide for us.

Shattered

Don't you just hate it when you give so much of yourself that the person you care for, and gave every effort to spend time with, turns around and tells you, that you are using them, when all you have just done is go through hell with them... WTF!!!

I don't know if my heart will ever be the same again...

Pic of the Week

I have had a really low week... glad it's over...
Here is my pic for the week...

ACTION ALERT!!!! CALL TO ACTION!!! Update!!!

Sea Shepherd South Africa

So I hear there should be some happy Dolphins out there swimming freely today... except for uShaka... Yay!!! Mango Airlines have removed the spot a dolphin at uShaka from their bucket list and replaced it with a new list.. "Spot a Dolphin on our Coastline"

Below is the letter I received after sending in my 2 cents worth.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi Frederic,

Mango is an ardent supporter of conservation and as a matter of fact it forms a significant part of our overall sustainability drive which we recently announced.

We have placed the dolphin in captivity faux pas at the top of our agenda and have now aligned this Bucket List challenge with our policy on sustainability. To this end, we are amending the challenge to spotting a dolphin in the wild, along the Kwa-Zulu Natal coastline. After all, the abundance of dolphins in the area was cause for the naming of the Dolphin Coast along the northern Durban shoreline.
I trust that this would satisfy your concern.

Kind regards
Hein Kaiser
Mango Corporate Affairs

I also noticed that this letter happened to be an identical note that was sent to another friend of mine... so I hope they have kept to their word...

Last thoughts before I close!

This week ahead, Monday, sees a public holiday. I for one, believe I am working. If I am not, I will have more time to collect my thoughts and do some catching up on my reading... Certainly nothing else to do since there is no one else around...

Pick of the Week

This is my Choice for pic. of the week
Created By My Dear Friend - A True Ambassador of the Sea.

Pic of The Day!

This is certainly a pic worth drooling over, especially for those nature lovers...

Bored!

Currently very bored, But I'm thinking about all the things that still have to be done over the next few months.... I hope I can get them all done soon... I have emotions to contend with, finances and loads of other dreams mulling over in my head...

Let's stand together and Save The Cove Dolphins!

Well, another week, mmm, not much to say, I hear today the banger boats were docked cause of a storm. That's good news so far for us Ocean Life loving men and woman.

I just hope it keeps strong for a few more days... (Silently wishing for another Tsunami to wipe out that little village) (Curse the the Fishermen who sail those waters)

In the future we want to see this...
and not the nasty image depicted below!

This is a huge disaster and it is not only happening in the Cove in Taiji, but stopping them first will be a huge step towards successfully stopping the entire lot.

I Say NO!

Time we all stood together against the nations endorsing some form of animal cruelty... I say NO! to Taiji, for slaughtering Whales and Dolphins... No to the clubbing of seals and No to Rhino and Elephant poaching... I also say no to animals in circuses and animals in captivity.

What have I been up to?

Well, it has been some time since my last appearance... I have a job now, so a lot of my time is spent working. Although the job is not stressful it does have it's moments, but most of all, it is fun and I love my job...

I work for a mobile applications, web and graphics design company in Durban, South Africa...
The Boss is friendly and we get on well. Most of the time I am alone at work, so I don't have my boss looking over my shoulder all the time... Work is great, but I can not say the same for my love life... which sucks at the moment...

That is my next priority... Healing the wounds!

On the other hand.
A Special and dear friend of mine, whom I shall rather not mention here... but will tell you a little about her. Is wanting to climb aboard the Sea Sheppard.
Although I do not want my friend to go, I have to stand by her, and fully support the decision - I understand fully the dangers involved in this and it scares me to death thinking, and knowing what the consequences may be if she never returns.

Our 13 year friendship has seen many hardships, many good times and very trying times.
Now I will be left alone to deal with my inevitable yet possible divorce.

However... I am standing by her for I also believe you can not kill and destroy life senselessly and call it a matter of "Pest Control" when the Dolphins, Whales and Sharks are quickly becoming extinct.

Dolphins and Whales in Taiji, and a few more islands around and near by. The clubbing of Seals in Namibia, Rhino and Elephant Poaching and of course, the humiliation of putting some of the remaining animals in captivity and in Dolphinariums and Circuses are just not on.

So, I am ready to support my friend...
Will you?
Do we need to see this on our beaches in years to come?

So this is the saddest thing to see. Once blue, now a bloodbath where all you see in this tiny boat are the fishermen and the Pilot whales they slaughtered.

No one would like to swim in a bloodbath! Would you?

So... Let's go out there and Protest... Choose an animal, and help fight for their right to live... A place on this planet.

Just another one of those days

Today is just another one of those days. and it's two days before I head off to Johannesburg again to. Off to see my family. My youngest daughter turns two, and I'm about to spoil my oldest 6yr old to. But whether or not it's a good idea to do so still remains unclear.
All I can say is I am looking forward to seeing them all, and I hope that the next decision I make will be the right one...

how much I love you

If you ask me how much I love you, I won’t say anything. I’ll just take your hand, fill the gaps between your fingers and hold on to you until all your doubts are gone. ~ unknown

We Come to Love...

"We come to love not by finding a perfect person, but by learning to see an imperfect person perfectly." ~ Sam Keen, from To Love and Be Loved

Usually, I find the best form of inspiration, is that of a simple quote, which helps me stay positive. I love the idea of being happy now... I have one hidden emotion. I am remaining strong for now... I just hope it does not interfere with my writing skills.

Thanks for reading so far.

For the Ladies...

This should say it all to the Ladies who always choose the wrong man.

Emotional Baggage

What a week this has been, only day four and I feel like I have been doing this forever... Work!, Work!, Work! Once I receive this new responsibility, I will not let anyone get in my way... I have hurt many along the way and I never intended to... My goal was always to fulfill my dreams. I am almost there. Yet my emotions will always be a great bane in my life. Most of which I'm sure I'll eventually deal with, or turn my back on those who claim to care about me...

Being separated from my wife has given me very little comfort, no emotional support and no encouragement... I am working on changing all that, but for now... Let's see where this goes.

Rock Sonic Events Logo

I'm so proud of myself, My new logo for the new venture... - can't wait to get it started.
This is of course a work in progress, as I think the background is missing something.
I think we need some thorns or something.

Making Strides

Today I am making changes again, making huge strides into the unknown, a direction I am almost too afraid to take. I know it has to be done if I am to know where my destiny lies. I need to know before it's too late.
Jobs are few and far between and hard to find, so I have to go out on my own and try extra hard to get work... even if it means starting up my own company.
